Our motto at Avalon is "Love in Action." When Jesus was asked which of the commandments is the greatest,
He said in essence, to love God and each other. The Bible tells us that the love of God has been poured into our hearts, and
we strive to give that love back to God and to others. We love God by gathering each Sunday to worship Him, but we also
show our love for God by loving others in our daily lives. Most people think of "Love in Action" as acts of service,
and this is certainly true. At Avalon we seek to serve our local community and each other. Just as important as serving one
another and our community is being committed to one another in relationships. At Avalon we are a family.
We make every effort to care for one another and work diligently at being kind and gentle. Jesus said, "All men will
know you are my disciples, if you love one another." We strive to authentically love each other; therefore, we have a
community which really is a family. We’d love to have you join our family. Please come visit us this Sunday.
